Hosta - Perennials

Hostas are some of the most popular plants for shade gardens, and for good reason. Hosta are easy to grow, hardy in almost every growing zone, and come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes. Variegated hostas add brightness and light to shade gardens while blue-leafed hostas are a cooling influence in hot climates. Hostas are primarily grown for their foliage, with leaves that can be as small as two inches wide and four inches long to a foot long and six or eight inches long.
