Weigela has been a constant, traditional favorite with gardeners and understandably so. Weigela have an abundance of tubular, bell-shaped flowers in late spring through summer. There are many different varieties of blooms and foliage color, which will attract hummingbirds to your yard! Weigela are also resistant to damage from deer or rabbits. You can see why you need to add this incredible shrub to your landscape. Valued as a specimen, border or container plant, Weigela are available in sizes from 12 inches high and wide, up to 5 feet high and wide. Growing best in full sun and in moist, well-drained soil, Weigela is adaptable to other soil conditions. They can tolerate part shade, however, flowering will be somewhat reduced.
